Cache Master Graphs explained

Extreme Peering Overall Performance

 

 
It shows Internet from upstream provider flowing through our system and Peering traffic, which is generated by the Cache Master system.
 
Internet - total upstream bandwidth
Peering - total peering traffic generated by Cache Master (see below what this traffic includes)
Total - The Sum of Internet and Peering is actually the "Total" - this is the total traffic that goes to users
 
 

Incoming internet by class of service

 

 
Shows the Upstream bandwidth (international traffic) split in different classes of traffic: HTTP, P2P (bittorrent), other
 
HTTP - this is traffic based on port 80, usually it's pure HTTP (web browsing and web downloads)
P2P - this is peer to peer traffic using bit-torrent protocol
Other - unrecognized traffic (can be encrypted traffic like https, other protocols)
Total - the total amount of bandwidth incoming from Internet (international traffic)
 

Extreme peering by class of service:

 

Shows the peering traffic generated by Cache Master system split in different classes of traffic.
 
HTTP cache - this is traffic generated by HTTP Cache module (HTTP traffic)
P2P Cache - this is P2P (bit-torrent) traffic generated by Cache Master cache engines
 

Web Traffic Internet vs Peering

 

Shows the HTTP traffic (web, port 80) from Internet vs HTTP traffic (web) delivered from Cache Master for easy comparison.
 
Internet - HTTP traffic (web, port80) from Internet
HTTP Cache - this is traffic generated by HTTP Cache module (HTTP traffic)
Total - total HTTP traffic output to users
 

Torrent traffic: Internet vs Peering

 

 

Shows the P2P traffic from internet vs the P2P (torrent) traffic generated locally by Cache Master for easy comparison.
 
Internet - P2P traffic from Internet
P2P Cache - this is P2P (bit-torrent) traffic generated by Cache Master cache engines

Total - total P2P traffic output to users

 
Effective (percentile) Traffic Measuring is done based on the 99th percentile. We remove 1% of maximum peak traffic of the last calendar month.
